My Approach

Therapeutic approach 

I use an eclectic approach, pulling from psychodynamic and humanistic theories: on one hand, I know how much past experiences, especially during our childhood, shape how we develop as adults. On the other hand, I believe every one of us has the potential to grow and become a fulfilled and accomplished person despite the challenges we face. Depending on my patient needs, I also introduce coping skills and some selected CBT and DBT interventions.

What to expect in a session

In your first sessions we'll explore your situation and your difficulties to devise a treatment plan. In follow-up treatment, we will focus on strengths you can build upon, long-term goals and values, to help you overcome these challenges. I may use experiential techniques to help along. I'll put an emphasis on self-care and self-compassion as major tools in your recovery.

En tant que psychologue formée en France, je suis heureuse de vous accompagner en français. En plus de mon expertise en psychologie de la santé et du deuil, je vous propose également de travailler sur les transitions de vie difficiles, liées ou non à l'expatriation.
